The GSAEC Campfires are 90-minute webinars that focus on key and emerging issues in coaching and coach education. Join us as we host thought leaders for discussions, presentations, and live panels designed to help keep you up to date with the latest developments in coaching and coach education!

Our November Campfire will be a discussion with Wendy-Ann Smith on the topic of Coaching Hiccups: Opportunities for Coaches and Coach Educators.

Wendy-Ann spoke about intentional learning for coach development with the GSAEC 2022 Conference participants. She joins our November Campfire to talk with us about Coaching Hiccups. What are Coaching Hiccups? How can we learn from our hiccups and grow as coaches and coach educators? What do coaches and coach educators need to cultivate and learn to let go of to benefit from their hiccups and serve their clients and students? Wendy-Ann will share her coaching hiccups and encourage us to share ours in this dynamic, interactive conversation.

Wendy-Ann Smith is a coaching psychologist and co-founder of the Coaching Ethics Forum (CEF) and coordinator of CEF 2nd conference this December 2023. She is lead editor of three significant publications for coaching: Positive Psychology Coaching in the Workplace (2021), The Ethical Coaches’ Handbook: A Guide to Developing Ethical Maturity in Practice (2023) and Ethical Case Studies for Coach Development and Practice: A Coach's Companion (Forthcoming, 2024). She runs virtual groups for coaches who wish to nourish themselves and their coaching with positive psychology and ethical reflection and works with a small number of one to one coaching clients. Wendy-Ann designs and delivers workshops and coaches at a number of international universities and business schools, which feeds both her love of facilitating development and growth and international travel.

This session will be recorded, and available to GSAEC Members after the fact.
