The GSAEC Campfires are 90-minute webinars that focus on key and emerging issues in coaching and coach education. Join us as we host thought leaders for discussions, presentations, and live panels designed to help keep you up to date with the latest developments in coaching and coach education!

Our October Campfire will be a discussion with Jenny Rogers, internationally recognized coach and author of Coaching Skills, now in its 4th edition with the 5th edition due January 2024. Coaching Skills is often called the “definitive guide to being a coach”. Jenny joined GSAEC in 2022 during the International Coaching Conference and is returning for another discussion about challenging issues in coaching and coach education. Many readers say they feel like they have had a conversation with Jenny when they read her books. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic discussion with Jenny as we explore “Being Brave: Trauma and Diversity in Coaching Revisited."

Jenny Rogers was an early entrant to the world of coaching, after earlier careers in teaching, television production and publishing. She has now been a coach for more than three decades working with senior clients in the law, medicine, finance, healthcare, performing arts and media. As well as working with her own coaching clients, she trains and supervises other coaches. She is part of the accreditation team for APECS, one of the UK’s leading membership bodies for coaches. Jenny won the Henley Business School Award for Outstanding Contribution to Coaching in 2019. Her books range from her classic Coaching Skills: The Definitive Guide to Being a Coach (4th edition) to Coaching – What Really Works (2021). Penguin Random House published her best-selling book of coaching stories, Are You Listening? in 2021. She lives in Central London, close to her sons and grandchildren. She is a keen cook, filmgoer and walker.

This session will be recorded, and available to GSAEC Members after the fact.
